Recently, my husband and I had some flooding in our basement after massive rainstorms and we decided to try to clean it up on our own instead of calling the professionals. This was one of the worst mistakes that we could have ever made, we could have called Austin water damage removal. We weren't able to get enough of the water out of the basement fast enough and it really started to soak into the walls and started wicking upwards. Then, we had a difficult time getting a lot of the moisture out of the carpeted portion of our finished basement and now we are having issues with mold and having to tear all of the flooring out as well as the drywall.

Now, we have to have water damage extraction services come in and really help us to get all of the moisture and mold out so that we can redo the entire basement from start to finish, pretty much.
